About this course
The Kite Surfing Assistant Instructor Course is designed to be a "hands on" course giving you the first experience of what it is to be a kite surfing instructor.
The course itself is usually about two days long and is usually fit around existing school teaching so you get a mix of live teaching with students who will be learning their basic IKO Level 1 skills as well as sessions with a trainer who will be working on your teaching, theory and presentation skills. All of this is designed to get you ready for your main ITC and embarking upon your career as an international kite surfing instructor.
Requirements
In order to come on the Assistant ITC, you will need to be at a minimum of IKO level 3. This includes all the basic kite surfing skills up to jumping, turning and riding up wind.
