About this course
We can't teach all there is to know about kite land boarding in one day but if you want an intro or a fun day out and don't fancy getting wet or are too far from snow then this is your lesson. Kite landboarding courses go all year round as well so you can get outside whatever the season.
This day is about maximising experience and having fun. We don't go into the detail of a normal course so we can maximise your time on the kites and try it all out. The day starts with a safety briefing so you know how to release the kite and understand the hand signals our instructors will use. After that, it's down to the beach to start flying with the traction kites.
As the day progresses we start getting you to "scud" which is where you get the kite to slide you across the sand. Finally we get the boards out and after demonstrating how to stop you'll be trying your first runs across the beach!
The natural progression from this course is either onto the 2-0day landboarding beginner course or else on to some 1-2-1 tutition for the more experienced kite flier.
