About this course
Ever thought of riding up the mountain?
People are attaching anything that moves to a kite and snowboards and skis are just another method of movement for the kite boarder. If you can already ski or snowboard, and the wind is blowing the right way, you can even snow kite back up the mountain you've just come down!
This course initially covers some of the theory and safety required to go snowkiting in mountainaous regions including how to set up kit and pack it down safely. After this it's on to your first powered up rund across the snow.
The week long course is designed to get you self-sufficient and safe then have fun travelling every which way across the snow and ice - UPHILL and down.
These courses are managed centrally through our Weymouth Campus and are week-long, run in the Obertauern region of Austria at a purpose built snowkiting centre.
