Welcome to Eastern Extreme - Kite surfing school, Norfolk

Kitesurfing lessons are conducted at Gorleston beach, only 10 minutes from Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. The centre is 30 minutes from Norwich and only two hours from London. Eastern Extreme is the only dedicated kite surfing and kite sports centre in East Anglia.

Norfolk is renowned for clean, blue-flagged sandy beaches and is a consistenly windy location due to its facing the North Sea. Gorleston has tidal shallows making it a great learning site as well as a great place to ride for more intermediate and advanced riders.

Eastern Extreme is a member of Paracademy, the largest kite sports training company in Europe and is partnered with Active X Community Sports, a Sports England organisation. All instructors are IKO and BKSA qualified and the centre carries full insurance and operates to the highest levels of safety.

Available courses

Courses run throughout the year with kitesurfing lessons running from spring until autumn [March - November]. If you don't fancy getting wet but still want to try your hand at kite sports then we offer kite land boarding courses all year round. In the winter we offer snow kiting sessions out in Austria as well. Courses are available from complete beginner through to advanced riders and international instructor qualifications.
